What is a printer? What are the types of inkjet printers?

The inkjet printer is a device that is controlled by a software system and uses a non-contact method to mark the product. Inkjet printer generally refers to the use of continuous inkjet technology inkjet equipment, referred to as CIJ. According to the application classification, the inkjet machine can be divided into several types:

• Inkjet type: small character inkjet printer, large character inkjet printer, high resolution inkjet printer, etc.

• Laser type: Laser inkjet printer (also known as laser marking machine or laser coding machine)

Small character inkjet printer (online continuous inkjet printer):

The small character inkjet printer mainly uses the charged deflection method of ink for inkjet marking, generating a series of small ink drops and selecting some of them for printing, thus forming the character on the product. Unused ink droplets are recycled to the printer and eventually reintegrated into the ink stream. Because the ink injection is continuous, the machine is called a continuous inkjet printer.

Large character inkjet printer:

The principle of the large character inkjet printer is different from that of the small character inkjet printer, the nozzle of the large character inkjet printer will spray ink according to the need, the common simple large character printer may use the valve design, the ink enters the nozzle, according to the different font dot matrix, by controlling the opening and closing of the valve, the ink spot is sprayed as needed to complete the purpose of printing. For example, printing a 7-point font requires at least seven nozzles and seven independent valves to operate the printing font. Generally suitable for outer boxes, outer packaging or large items.

Laser marking machine:

The laser inkjet machine gathers the laser at a very high energy density on the surface of the inscribed object, vaporizes the material on its surface by burning and etching, and precisely burns the pattern or text by controlling the effective displacement of the laser beam. It is usually used on the surface of plastic or metal materials.
